Life caught me with one of it’s weird curve balls today, in the form of an email concerning Daniel O’Neil, who, it transpires, was the original owner of the domain residenthippy.com, and tragically was one of the victims of the Virginia Tech shootings. Good lord. Will someone put this man out of his misery?
As a tutor at the National Union of Journalist’s training body it’s bad enough that he’s making sweeping statements such as “bloggers themselves rejoice in having lower standards“, but when you find out his title at NUJ training is Writing for the Web, well…words fail me.
