Anyway last night a good friend asked if he could use one of my glass bongs, know I’ve known this guy for years and have trusted him with my cars before and they’ve always come back in one piece and undamaged so i thought what the heck. I handed over my glass bong and he was really careful with it so i wasn’t to bothered.

Anyway i went up to the toilet and was only gone a few minutes and when i came down i found my glass bong on the floor in more pieces than I’m familiar with. He’d placed it on the table and then got up but nudged the table and my best glass bong fell on to the rug, but the top shattered and it split in the middle.

I was really pissed with him for about 30 minutes, but realised it was only a bong and that i could buy another one. This is the main reason that i lend friends acrylic bongs, as i’m not as bothered about them breaking and they are a hell of a lot harder to break.

If you go over to Turkey you need to be asking for a Nargila (pronuonced nar-gee-la) asking for a Hookah Pipe will just get you a vague blank and distant look (You know the sort).

Going over to the Arab world then ask for a Sisha, the word hookah is also known but not widely so stick with Sisha.

Hookah Pipes are very customisable as well, the bowls can be swapped, and are often made from clay or marble.

Windscreens are idela if your going to be using your Hookah Pipes outside, as it stops the wind increasing the burn rate of your herb so it’s placed over your bowl.

Ok so my favour bong now has a gaping crack down the tube.

I’m going to keep it as it was my favourite one, but i’m going to have to get another one to replace it Argghhhh bloody dogs.

i’ve been looking around last night and this mornnig on various websites that offer acrylic bongs but theres not that i fancy really

Most of my purchases were CDs, DVDs and books so Amazon saw the majority of my money, along with a John Lewis (the bathrobe). I also bought two bongs for my sister (she’s just started university and seems to have amassed a collection already) from a place called Shiva Head Shop.

When I ordered the bongs I didn’t notice the online head shop had retail premises less than a mile from my flat, and being new to the area I didn’t know it was there. So it was a bit of a surprise when my order turned up 40 minutes later, presented in person by one of the owners of Shiva Head Shop. So much for online shopping being impersonal! He was passing anyway so saved himself the price of postage and got to deliver a bit of personal service too, which is always good. Thanks for the newbie tips on Greenwich mate

Hopefully Sis will be happy with the bongs and the rest will be happy with the obviously Amazon-sourced books and whatnot. Though I’m beginning to think that giving out presents which are almost all DVDs, Books & so on from Amazon makes some relatives who think you’re cheating. “I had to struggle through Bluewater at lunchtime on a Saturday, why didn’t you, you c*nt!”
